Smocking ...

We all have times in our lives that are so chaotic and out of control that the only solace can be found in slow methodical work, to calm the mind and place order where there is none.
There are few activities slower or more methodical than smocking.

    Kate, your skill is humbling! Could i ask a question? You use lots of up cycled fabric to cover your books. What do you line this fabric with before you cover your books? Thank you x
